Pringles Can Crafts
Pringles Can Crafts. What else could you use a Pringles can for? Since they’re a favorite snack item for billions of people, that means they are a large contributor to landfill waste. But just because they can’t go in the recycling bin doesn’t mean they can’t be repurposed in a multitude of ways!
Use Pringles cans to hold odd- or small-sized gifts. Decorate the outside of the can with construction paper, glitter, ribbons, or whatever you like, then fill it with homemade cookies, and give it away as a gift.
Another way to use a Pringle’s can would be to pack small cookies. This is one of the simplest projects to make out there. See how to create a holder from recycled cans and clothespins.
You will need:
a small can of Pringles;
a bunch of clothespins;
a glue gun;
some nicely patterned fabric;
a pair of scissors;
a roll of rope;
a round lid;
a small wood knob;
What you actually need to do is firstly wash out the can – scrub the can thoroughly so that you don’t have the scent of the crisps left over. Next, you can dry your can and start decorating it. You can use a variety of materials including paper, paints and bows.
Measure how the length of the pringles can and cut a piece of fabric. Start by covering the inside and top part of the can of Pringles with the desired fabric. You can use just about any type of glue or adhesive for this project.
Do the same with a lid. You can take any jar lid or better a piece of cardboard. Next, glue the wood knob onto the lid and the rope at the base of the lid.
Now, dislodge the clothespins so you are left with only the individual sticks of wood to work with. Take the glue gun again and attach each half of the clothespin to the can, like shown in the picture. When the entire can has been covered with clothespins, use rope to tie around them.
