Maple leaf flowers
Autumn – a time when nature explodes with color, the leaves turn red, yellow and even orange. The nature gives you almost all the ingredients you need to work with. And best of all, leaves are gorgeous and they are FREE. I’m going to share with you a technique how to make a bouquet of autumn leaves. With your skillful hands, you can create an autumnal mood in your home. The advantage of this design is that it requires no monetary investment. And then, this bunch of leaves can be a great gift for your loved ones and friends.
The fresher your leaves, the easier the craft will be. Also be sure to collect leaves in varying sizes and colors. For each flower we will need 10 colorful maple leaves, Scissors and Tape.
Now with one of the smaller leaves, put the colorful side down and fold the points inward. Start with your smaller leaves and keep adding larger leaves until you have the sized rose you want.
Roll the leaf from one side. Next, get a second leaf and fold the center point downward.
Put the first rolled leaf in the center, folding down the side points on the second leaf and wrap both sides around.
Proceed to add leaves, revolving the flower as you go along to achieve a balanced size.
The flower size can be done at your convenience.
Press the leaf stems firmly and begin to wrap it with florist tape. You may cut the excess stem ends. If you desire a long stem you can use a stick.
Once your leaf roses are done, make a wreath, a bouquet, place cards, etc.
